| 0:00.0 | This is an I-Heart podcast. |
| 0:54.9 | Guaranteed Human. Welcome in, everybody, to Fantasy Pros. This is the Fantasy Football Podcast. It is me, Joey P. Joe Piz, Appia. With me, as always, is Jake Sealy from the Athletic. Happy holidays. Happy Championship Week, everybody. You did it, you made it, you're here. Congratulations to all of you. And look at us. We are representing here. Jake's representing everything that's great about the holidays on his sweater. I'm representing Eric Cartman who wants more presents, obviously. That's where I'm reping today. But Jake, I know I have got my most important championship coming up this week. Your flex news. I'm going for that three-time championship. So fingers crossed because that's all I want for Christmas is another belt in your expert. Oh, yes. Advanced congratulations. Am I jinxing you by saying that? We've already seen. You are. Shut up, Sealy. Let's just move on to the players now. Why would you do that? |
| 1:11.6 | You're such a James. Yes, I am representing... If you didn't notice, yeah, there's just like this whale, and it's Joseph and Mary. So Santa is holding baby Jesus with the American flag, and then... I don't know if you can see this, but for some reason, the sheep has six legs. I don't know. So like, maybe if they give you a one shot, this is whatever. |
| 1:11.0 | Yeah, I mean, that is that is super murk of Christmas. I don't know if I'm trying to jinx you on purpose because I'm so bitter about my home league, which nobody cares about, but I told you before the show, for everybody out there to understand like we feel your pain. I started with JSN and Nakua. I'm like, cool. |
| 1:30.7 | I'll see everybody in the championship because, by the way, in our home league, |
| 1:34.2 | the top two scores advanced, not just matchups because it's playoffs, similar to flex. |
| 1:36.4 | I am not in the championship. |
| 1:38.0 | Thank you, Josh Jacobs. |
| 1:39.0 | Thank you, Bruce Hall. |
| 1:40.6 | Thank you, Tyrone Tracy. |
| 1:41.7 | And thank you, Drake London. |
| 1:45.2 | So, yes, I'll be watching from home even after that start. Well, let's start with Josh Jacobs there because that was another one for me. I was, man, Saturday, I'm cooking, I'm doing stuff. We had football in the afternoon. I came home. I was making some stuff. And I'm like, you know, I don't love the idea of starting Josh Jacobs here, but I'm like, man, it's cold, and they're going to run. And I actually watched him in warm-ups. I was like, okay, how is he moving? |
| 2:04.6 | I was like, man, it's cold and they're going to run, and I actually watched him in warm-ups. I was like, okay, how is he moving? I was like, he looks pretty good. And he did. So I started him. It didn't go well. Jordan Love got hurt, obviously fumble. Rest is history. So let's start here with the obvious guy is Emmanuel Wilson again. If he's available, probably somebody you should pick up this week, right? 100%. That's why he's here. It's the obvious one. Some people might have dropped them because the situations in their playoff stash in the second defense, you know, blocking your opponents, that kind of thing. This is why we also talk about, though, even if you are blocking your opponents or any kind of matchup situations like that, you want to keep these high-end backups, especially with Jacob's situation. Yeah, same thing. We've done this. We've done this for how many weeks, and Jacobs has been an RB1 for most of them playing through the injury. He just happened to aggravate the injury in game and on top of it, like you said, Jordan Love, which is a question mark. And I already said, I don't know if you saw this too. LaFour said Malique Willis feels pretty sore after that game on top of it. |
| 2:51.0 | Oh, no. |
| 2:51.9 | I know. |
| 2:52.3 | They get their Ravens at home, though. |
| 2:53.6 | But even if it's Malik Willis, Emmanuel Wilson will be an RB2. And if it's Jordan Love back under center and there is no Josh Jacobs, Emmanuel Wilson, as we saw before, we'll be entering the fringe RB1 conversation. So I wanted to get that out of the way that just in case you go check |
| 3:08.0 | your waiver wires out there, it is do everything you can to go get Emmanuel Wilson. All right. You got to do everything you can to get somebody to play running back for the Browns because Quinn John Judkins broke his leg yesterday. Terrible way to end the season for that kid, too. It just sucks. But now we have to move on and find out who's going to be next up there. not to mention all the quarterback |
| 3:25.1 | injuries this week. |
| 3:26.1 | Holy cow. |
| 3:27.4 | The Superflex lineups that are going to struggle bus into championships are going to be hilarious this week everywhere. Basically, who's healthy? Basically, it's like you got two healthy quarterbacks? Awesome. I've got three healthy quarterbacks. So fingers crossed, man. But, you know, let's talk about Dylan Samson, |
| 3:43.3 | Rahim Sanders, if you want to mention him as well and how aggressive people should be. |
