Welcome in everybody to Fantasy Pros. This is the Fantasy Football Podcast. It is me, Joey P. Joe P. Zafia. And it's time to look ahead to the waiver wire for the playoffs. That's right. You did it. You made it. You're here in the playoffs. Jake Sealy from The Athletic and I have some names that could be streamers this week depending on what's going on with your roster because just because you made the playoffs

0:25.3

doesn't mean your whole team is intact in week 15. So Jake Sealy, speaking of intact,

0:31.2

certainly a lot of injuries in the last weekend to deal with that are going to have massive impacts

0:35.8

as well too. I mean, these quarterback injuries losing Daniel Jones, what that does to some of the offensive pieces there. Obviously, Jayton Daniel is getting hurt again, a lot of things with the thumbs down, as you were pointing out. Yeah, the Daniel Jones one is probably the worst, which is crazy to think that. Preseason, when we sit here and be like, man, it's going to really suck if we lose Daniel Jones right before the fantasy playoffs.

1:10.8

And yet that's what we're saying because it's a big thumbs down for, honestly, Pittman was the only one that benefited from that. Benefit, like the target share went up. So Pittman might be okay, but you have to worry about Alex Pearson. It sounded like I said Alex. Alec Pierce. It does sound like you said that way.

1:12.6

I can feel the YouTube comments.

1:11.9

This guy writes for the athletic and he doesn't know it's alec and not Alex

1:17.0

oh no no I was waiting for the YouTube comments to come for the hat like your your stupid school

1:22.0

bailed out like no good for them I stand with them take away the money they did the Irish goodbye

1:26.5

in order to do that oh that's actually good call that's. I can't believe nobody said that. Am I the first person to say that? He's the first person that I think I've seen say it. And I've been reading a lot of them. Then I'm the first one. Yeah. See, I heard goodbye. See it when they just dipped out. We won't have in the waivers, but because it sounds like everybody kept saying like he's come, he would have come back in the game if the blowout wasn't in hand. But just in case, if Devon A. Chan is out, Jalen Wright looks like he's actually going to be the lead. Remember, this is the roller coaster of Jalen Wright. Like, oh, the Olly Gordon and Jalen rights. Oh, man. I've been hedging Devon A. Chan stuff and stuff for two years now, and none of it's worked out.

2:02.1

Well, so if he's out, it looks like Jaylon writes to lead and Olly Gordon would probably be the goal line option, which is what we kind of thought. It would happen anyway, and now we're actually to where that would happen, but it might not matter because H.A. might be fine, anyway. All right. Well, let's get to some other names here, not on the dolphins here. Let's start with Jaden Reed, who was activated this past Sunday. And finally, after doing that collarbone injury, so what effect could Reed have going down the stretch in the playoffs? Yeah, I thought this was an interesting, that under 50% on Sleeper or 41% on Yahoo, where I guess not everybody has IR spots and wasn't able to stash him all year long. So this is kind of more for, one, if he's out there, but two, also, you had been waiting, if you did stash him, if you did keep him on your bench and didn't start him in his first game back, Reed was right back out there as the slot option, and he was on the heels of Romeo Dobbs in snap count and routes, which that's the excitement here, because Romeo Dobbs has basically been a non-factor for most of the second half of the season, if not a little bit longer.

2:51.7

He had that one good game. But outside of that, nothing there. And Christian Watson still looks great, which good for that. As we told everybody, I say we, I'm including news, like, don't worry about Christian Watson. It's finally happening. Jane and Reid, and I said this on our show, I say our show now, the Fantasy Pro show on Thursday with Fitz, I said, don't worry about Jane and Reid coming back. He's not going to

3:10.5

hurt Christian Watson because what did he do? He's filling the Tucker craft void. And that's where it comes in is that slot option, middle of the field, those opportunities that craft left and nobody has been really able to duplicate is that's what Reed will be. So if you had Reed or if you need to pick them up, I'd immediately throw them back in as a wide receiver three starting next week. All right. Next up here, number two on their list has to do with the Dallas Cowboys too. So if CD Lamb played on a Thursday, so there is a little extra time to clear concussion protocol, but typically when someone's in concussion protocol, they don't play the next week. So it's going to be very dicey. However, the Cowboys need them. We every, everybody knows that the fantasy managers need him too. But if he is out, who benefits besides George Pickens? It's going to be Ryan Forner, as it happened in that game and it has been most of the season, the next one up for everybody that wanted all the other options like Turpin and Tolbert and everything.

4:00.2

It's been clear from them. It's been Flournoy. So if there is no CD Lamb, Flournoy steps up. They have the Sunday night game hosting the Viking. So we actually have extra time for Lamb. And this is more so specifically for Lamb or, hey, I need that Hail Mary play because we're going to have to make this decision well before we know about Lamb likely if your waivers run. So this is a big if. It might be somebody you throw right back to the waivers. But at this point of the season, we're talking about week 15, the playoffs. We're talking playoffs. We're talking playoffs right now. At Floranoi, I would not start more than a wide receiver

4:31.7

four, but in this passing offense with Dak Prescott, we've seen it already. Anytime Lamb or

4:37.1

Pickens is out, we want the next option. So I would start Flournoy as a wide receiver four if

4:42.0

lamb is out. All right. Let's talk about Dylan Samson for a moment. We had a big offensive explosion

4:47.4

from the Cleveland Browns. Those are words I haven't uttered in quite some time. I can tell you that much. Shador Sanders threw for over 300 yards. So is Dylan Sampson somebody that we could look at potentially as being a beneficiary if this offense can continue to evolve down the stretch? Now, granted, I understand, it was against the Tennessee

5:04.5

Titans, a one-win team, but now there are two-win team. But what do you think about Dylan Samson?

5:09.5

Is he worth an ad? Well, so, and we'll talk about somebody at number five, this is twofold.
