Well, you can pick your phrase. Here we go again. Whatever's old is new again.

Take your pick, and we are back to Square one with Donald Trump, who did a radio interview in Iowa on Thursday, for obvious reasons.

He was on WHO radio, and the topic came up of the possibility of the special counsel jailing Trump, detaining him, actually incarcerating him for whatever

period of time, holding him in a cell. And Trump said, quote, I think it would be very

dangerous to jail me. And he went on to say that the crowds that he's witnessing where he's speaking

are 150% more excitable and excited than they

were in 2016 and 2020. Now, I personally don't have one issue with what he said, and I think

it's true. I think there will be demonstrations. There would be riots. There would be all kinds of

stuff from people on the right if Donald Trump is put in jail.

So I think the bigger question here, and they didn't get to this in the interview, the bigger

question here is, would that be the Democrat strategy to get rid of Trump or just to make

Republicans look even worse?

If they jail him, who's the winner and loser?

Does he become more iconic?

Does Trump become a martyr with voters?

Or is it a situation where the Democrats would love to push the buttons

and see people take to the streets, get rowdy,

probably wouldn't look a whole lot like the riots that we've seen in Minneapolis and Atlanta and so many different cities where they're

breaking windows and things like that. But what exactly would the reaction be from the most

vocal, shall we say, Trump supporters if he were actually locked up and held

for whatever period of time. So is this any different than his January 6th speech where he said,
