He's just a special man.

Forget the player, obviously I never knew the player, I know the man.

And just what an awesome representation of this organization, this community of God

and embraces all the responsibility that comes with being him.

I just admire his passion for Pittsburgh and young people.

His organization, this community, the football world, we're also a great one, and Franco

Harris.

So obviously we're all heartbroken, but we do look forward to honoring him in his legacy

this weekend and obviously where our attention needs to be is on the preparation required

to put together the type of performance that's fitting of a great man like Franco.

Mike Tomlin, Steelers head coach, Tuesday talking about Franco Harris who unexpectedly

passed on Wednesday.

We got word of it just before we went on the air.

It was a difficult day yesterday for a lot of people living around Pittsburgh.

People who have been fans of the Steelers fans of the NFL, people who have paid any attention

to pro football for the past half century.

They all know who Franco Harris is and what he means to the Steelers and what he means

to the sport.

And there was a lot of appropriate and heartwarming reaction yesterday to the man, look at that

right there.

Is that not a classic man, Tony Dungee with the collar pop.

I mean, that's amazing.
