The Jacksonville Jaguars continue to clean house, man. They just released Evan Engram, who joined the team in 2022, played three seasons here with the Jags, played his first five seasons, of course, with the Giants. He's now 31 years old, and I can't say this was a surprise because, well, he had a cap number of 19.5 million this season. It doesn't save them that much

against the cap. It's just under six million that they save. But the writing was on the wall for

this. We had already heard from the new regime. Of course, general manager James Gladstone and

head coach Liam Cohen. They were talking up Renton Strange.

And I'm going to get to Strange in a minute here.

But they're remaking this roster and getting rid of some of the veteran players.

Now, of course, this is BH 31 season for Evan Ingram.

Was not able to stay healthy last year.

But I know a lot of fantasy folks are going to have fond memories

of 2023 when he put up 114 catches. It goes for 9.63. Only scored four touchdowns. He's never

been a touchdown guy. His career best actually came in his rookie season. He had six touchdowns

with the Giants that year. Of course, that was a year where the Giants had like basically every single wide receiver

injured by the end of the year.

So he was kind of Eli Manning's only weapon, but never really a touchdown guy, more

of a high volume guy.

And even then, not massive volume.

Other than the 114 catch season, his second best season, 73 catches. That came in

his first year with the Jags in 2022. So the reception of Evan Ingram may be skewed a bit by that

outlier season. I'm going to call it an outlier season for sure in 2023. Wasn't able to stay healthy last year. Had a little bit of that

early in his career, though in the middle of his career was kind of durable. Durable enough,

let's call it. He's going to find a landing spot, but I know how this goes. I see it all the time.

He'll be 31 years old, which is not old for a tight end, but still,
