Apologies for missing the episode last week, but it's for a good reason.

Eric works for the shrimp, the jumbo shrimp, here are a local AAA minor league baseball team.

And tell us what happened, Eric.

Wow, I didn't know you knew about the shrimp that much.

But, yeah, I had to call off the pod last week, unfortunately, after the Texans dub,

because it was the same week that our minor league baseball team, the Jumbo Shrimp, were in the playoffs.

And how the minor league playoffs work, they play a best of three home series.

And the shrimp split the first two games. So there was a third game on Thursday. And I was at all three of them in the shrimp won the

series and moved on to the AAA National Championship in Vegas this past Saturday, which they won

on a walk-off home run in the bottom of the ninth. So we are champions here in Jacksonville

in baseball, and we are continuing that energy to the football team right across the concrete.

So sorry I was out. I'm just trying to keep the championship energy alive here in Duval. You feel me? Yeah, good job. And the shrimp playing in Vegas, like that, that game was on past midnight over here, I feel like. It started at 1030, I think. Did you get alerts when it was going on? He had it on. I did have it on. You were watching. Yeah, I was watching it. Did she see the walkoff? He was watching. I did see the walk off. You did? Yeah. Because I turned,

Because I turned, because it was a long day that day on Saturday. I walked by you. It was past midnight and you were dead asleep in the couch and it was playing on your phone right in front of you. And I was like so confused. I thought it was like softball. I was so confused we were watching. Then I realized what it was. Yeah, it was pretty late into the evening and we were, the lights were off in the living room. Half of the house was asleep.

I was dozing off, but I think I woke up when I heard the announcer screaming. Yeah.

And then I was like, oh shit, the shrimp just won it all.

But yeah, I had it on because I think I saw somebody texted me.

I think in our shrimp work group chat that we had just won it all.

So, or not won at all, but like it was almost over and we were about to win.

So that's when I cut it on real quick because they were streaming it and then just put

it on for the vibes.

And then they walked it off.
