Hey, I'm Teresa Caputo. You might know me as the Long Island medium.

Why do people call me that? Well, I talk to the dead.

My job is to help spirit communicate to their loved ones here in the physical world

that they are safe and at peace and that there is more to life than this.

This podcast gives me the opportunity to share my gift with more people than ever before

and to give all of you a better understanding of how I communicate with spirit.

Things you're told by your parents early on in life can have a huge impact on the person you grow up to be.

My guest today, Jackie, has struggled with a negative self-image her entire life,

which makes it extremely difficult for her to embrace her own special gifts,

which I came to learn were actually pretty similar to my own.

I'm Jackie Moran. I'm from Dender Colorado. I was really hoping to connect with my brother.

My brother and I had weaker up in Michigan and we moved out here in our early 20s.

My mom came out after my dad passed away and we didn't expect her death. She wasn't sick.

It was just her time to go. Growing up, I had a pretty traumatic childhood.

My father was very abusive and my mom took the brunt of it.

My brother also took the brunt of the beatings for my dad.

But he had this big heart and he always was my protector.

He was my older brother. In fact, he even moved to Colorado after I moved to Colorado.

He could be near me and keep an eye on me and watch over me.
