We are talking today about your recent foray into the world of backyard chickens.

So you designed a coop from scratch and it really looks really cool and unique and best

of all, it really didn't cost you much, right?

Yeah, actually that's something that we're really quite happy with.

So what we did is we've been collecting a bunch of wood from friends or from Craigslist,

anything that we could get, and especially during that peak period of the last year

where wood got really expensive, we really leaned into that free wood supply.

So we built, we did a lot of research and kind of looked up what chicken coops really

need and what sort of dimensions are required.

And we came up with a nice plan and as most things, we had a plan, but as we were going

it changed because we were working with free lumber and things like that.

But it came out really nice.

We actually built it for six chickens, right now we have four.

And they've actually just started laying eggs in like the past month.

So that's been really exciting.
