Kale Brooks. Kale, what's new? Not much. Happy to be here. Happy to be

filling in for Aurela. Yes, sorry if you saw Aurela's graphic on the

like, intro graphic. Surprise is actually Kale. Aurela will be back at some

point, I promise. But I'm really happy to have you, Kale. Yeah, well, it's a little

bit of a bait and switch because it's clearly a better graphic. So, no, happy to be

here. This is I think a really good episode. It's I think hopefully it'll be an

important episode, at least the interview will be. I think our segments will be

too, but you can judge that. Undoubtedly, the interview will be important.

And because we're talking about, I think probably the most important thing for

the left to figure out right now, right, which is basically like, who are the

working class in America and can the left win them over? Can we can the left

can the left political project form some kind of alliance with working class

people? Because historically, the only way any left political agenda has ever

been realized has been through working class support. So it's kind of it's kind of

the biggest question. Yeah. And it doesn't, you know, but this is important

because our guest actually has done along with a number of other people, some

pretty important research on this. Like we actually have we're not just

speculating anymore. We actually have data. So we actually we actually have hard

data. I'm obviously really excited. Our guest is Jared Abbott. He is a

researcher at the newly formed Think Tank Center for working class politics.
