Hello, you are watching the Jacobin Show. I'm Jen Pan here, of course, with

Kale Brooks. I think, as you have probably deduced from the title of this

video, this is, unfortunately, the last episode of the Jacobin Show will be

airing. The reason we are wrapping up the show is actually a little bit

anticlimactic. I think you guys know that Paul Prescott and Arielle

Thornhill, who were our co-hosts, had to drastically scale back their

involvement earlier this year. Paul, of course, ran for office. He now

works for the teamsters. Arielle was on maternity leave and, you know, has

three kids and multiple jobs. And basically, we went from at the start of

2021, having Anna and Nando on weekends. And Arielle, Paul and myself, and

of course, Kale on the Jacobin Show. It went from, you know, being a huge

operation, so to speak, to being just me and Kale. And, you know, I guess I

should say, for my part, I have a few work commitments and a few

different freelance projects that are ramping up right now. In

particular, I am working on a book, which is going to be out spring

2024 from Verso. So you may be hearing more about that in the future at

some point. Eyes on that. Eyes on that. But this is all to say that, you

know, it's it's it's crazy to think about this, but it's been almost two

years since we started the Jacobin Show. Obviously, you know, it has been

like totally an honor to get to do this. Because this is the last show, I will

say, I will make a confession, which is that I actually don't really like being
