history at the University of California at Irvine and also at Looned University Center for Middle

Eastern Studies and he also recently taught at University of Bologna,

is an Institute for Advanced Studies.

He's a world musician.

and he's a columnist for Al Jazeera English. He's written many books. The most current is Islam and Popular Culture published in 2016

and he's working right now on a collaboratively written history of the occupation

with several dozen leading Palestinian, Israeli, and international scholars.

And he's also a long time contributing editor to Cuckoon magazine, and they just publish the article that we're going to

discuss and that's called Zionism has become an existential threat to Jews.

while 60 miles away young Jews massacred dozens of unarmed Palestinians with utter humanity and impunity.
