There's a magazine at the center of all this that you may or may not have heard about

It's called Jacobin. It's been around for about a decade, but it's really growing now

gaining subscribers gaining attention and in some months gaining more than 2 million unique visitors.

Baskar Sun Kara is the editor and publisher of Jacobin.

He's also the author of the forthcoming book,

The Socialist Manifesto, coming out from Basic Books.

Thanks for having me. You probably reject the idea of socialism having a quote-unquote moment.

Because you've been writing about this and talking about this for years?

I actually don't.
