1:41.0 | We're a very diverse group of people. All one need to do is come to one of our workshops. People that are so committed that they give up a significant portion of time to be around each other. |
1:53.0 | And it's not free. It's a significant financial investment to come to a workshop. |
1:58.0 | And you see incredible diversity in people by age, by race, by demographic, by sex, and everybody gets along. |
2:09.0 | But it's certainly not an echo chamber. There's a lot of discussions that are somewhat disagreements. They're cordial disagreements, but they're disagreements. |
2:17.0 | We're not an echo chamber. I've said since the beginning of this show that it is one man's opinion, not a lecture or sermon. |
2:26.0 | And I think sometimes when people tell me, well, you're wrong. And here's why I don't agree with. And I say, well, I think you're wrong. Here's what I don't disagreement. That means they weren't heard. |
2:36.0 | Being heard, does it mean that people just lay down and take your word for what you said? I'm convicted in my beliefs. So it's reasonable that you're going to have to do more than just say you're wrong or you're stupid to get me to change my mind. |
2:50.0 | That's, that's, that does not mean that you weren't heard. That does not mean that your opinion didn't matter. |
2:56.0 | And I think we really need to make sure that we are looking at all sides of things. Also know there's some of y'all that you listen to this show and you vote. I don't ever tell you not to. |
