And then the moment where you do recognize that you know you either laughed because somebody said something funny or you actually weren't thinking about, you know, your son being missing for a few minutes, as soon as you recognize that, the guilt that is in your mind.

And then you realize that the guilt that is you, it's like, oh my god. So you really get torn while you know you have responsibilities that feel so, it feels so wrong even if you have a moment or two of peace.

On January 22nd, 2018, 24-year-old Jacob Hilton went to visit his mom. He planned to spend the evening with her and use the internet at her place since his wasn't working.

Later that evening, a couple friends picked him up to go to a casino and to lay left Washington. After spending several hours at the casino, Jake walked away stating that he was going to take a bus back home.

The last sighting of him was at 10-20 in the morning on the 23rd when the police were doing a homeless sweep of the area. They checked his ID and he told them that he was trying to catch a bus back home. After that, Jake disappeared without a trace.

There have been numerous sightings of him since this time, but they've all either been ruled out or remain unconfirmed.

I was contacted by Jake's mom, Marney back in January, right after he went missing.

She immediately knew something was wrong when her son disappeared. It wasn't like Jake to just walk away.

Marney has a very close relationship with him, and they got through tough times together.

She knew that if there was some kind of trouble, he would have come to her for help.
