0:07.2	So I'm at the second section, 15 through 28.
0:09.8	If I'm looking at this chart that John showed us in the manual. It's the time of Christ. I've got lots of good fruit.
0:17.5	Even the wild fruit is becoming good. You've got the Nephites and Lamanites,
0:22.2	verse 25. Part of the tree is good, part of the tree is bad.
0:26.5	But I wanted to ask you about one part of this.
0:29.9	Verse 21, the servant says,
0:32.2	why did you put this particular tree in this terrible spot?
0:37.0	He said, that's the poorest spot in all the vineyards.
0:39.9	And the Lord responds with, Counsel me not. I knew that it was a poor spot of ground. I like that.
0:46.8	Counsel me not. I knew. What are you seeing there?
0:50.9	Well, first of all, we wouldn't want to take a hard and fast stance on which parts of the world are poor spots of ground, but there are definitely spots that we might individually think, hey, this is not a good spot of ground.
1:06.4	I've had to struggle my entire life.
1:10.3	At BYU, Hawaii, we have students in great proportions from just about everywhere in the world.
1:18.0	And one of the things that is really striking to me is that almost every one of them has a story of struggle about how they got to the
1:28.4	point where they could come to BYU Hawaii and then they're getting here to be O. I really has hammered home, because I think a lot about the whole
1:38.1	grafting process that is a part of this allegory, right?
1:42.0	The Lord has got part of this allegory, right? The Lord has got part of the fulfillment of the
1:46.0	Abrahamic covenant was to scatter Israel throughout the entire world and now we've
1:51.2	got Israel everywhere even in the poor spots of ground.
1:56.6	And then the Lord from wherever he's placed them, he'll bring them to Laiya here and to help further prepare them for when they get grafted back in wherever the Lord is going to graft them in the future. We ask questions, mortal questions about
