| 1:48.0 | He was transferred shortly before the end of the war to another concentration camp called Mudhausen, which was right down at the Austrian border, near Lens. And he was freed by the American army. But at that point, he had lost so much weight, and he was so sick, |
| 2:06.2 | both of his lungs were gone. So he lived about another two months at the most. It was by a family who they assigned my father to be very careful, to feed him. |
