0:49.0	in which Judge Chutkin denied Donald Trump's claim of complete immunity from criminal charges for any
0:56.3	conduct during his time as president of the United States and his claim that
1:01.3	he was immune from prosecution in the January 6th case because
1:04.9	Donald Trump's lawyers say that that would be double jeopardy because Donald
1:09.7	Trump already was subjected to an impeachment trial in the United States Senate
1:15.1	on essentially the same charges. Last week, this appeal by Donald Trump
1:20.3	seemed like business as usual in the federal court system with the United States Court of Appeals in Washington, D.C.
1:27.0	having jurisdiction over the Trump appeal with an unlimited amount of time to consider that appeal.
1:35.0	And as I complained on this program last week, the appeals court could take a year
1:40.0	to decide an appeal like that if they wanted to.
