We're going to talk about my favorite subject and yours. And today we're moving toward Pentecost, June 9th of this year.

And as we move into that season, I think it's fitting to talk about the Pentecostal rapture of the Church of Jesus Christ.

Where do you want to begin?

Well, I'm surprised, first of all, when I learned the truth about Pentecost, the aspect of Pentecost that symbolizes the resurrection of the dead,

the righteous of this age. I'm surprised that more ministers did not preach on, those who believe

in the pre-tribulation or rapture the church did not preach on the beautiful

picture of Pentecost because it obviously was designed to symbolize, prefigure the catching

way, the harvesting, the resurrection of the dead in this church age. It was beautiful in that regard.

And I saw that particular truth back in about 1981. I was in

Lima, Peru, and we had gone there for the special purpose of trying to help the new

Christians that we'd met there, who had come out of Roman Catholicism primarily, beating in unity

on several issues. One of them was the pre-tribulational

rapture of the church. And as I was studying in preparation for that meeting, I read through

1 Corinthians 15, the threefold order of the resurrection. And I saw Christ is the first fruits,

and I knew and learned and studied later, that was when the sheaf of grain was first raised up during the Passover.

And then from that they count 50 days.

And on the 50th day the whole harvest is then celebrated by that festivity, and they will raise
