And here to talk about. And here to talk about Christ as our Passover is author and Bible teacher Jack Langford,

and it's a pleasure to have you back with us again.

Glad to be here again.

And I'm using the words from a title on one of your books,

The Day Christ Died as Our Passover.

And on the front of this book is a picture of a man

painting the doorpost and lentil of his doorway with blood,

as we are given in Exodus. The command, when the angel of death came by, the

command was paint your doorposts and lentil with blood and he will pass over your house.

And what a story. You know, the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ is a subject that is touched upon very often.

But the symbolism is huge. That is, it runs all the way through old and New Testaments.

And your book here, applying the blood to the doorpost and lentils is more than just a simple figure.

It's the life we have in Christ.

Jerry, I remember the day I was born again when I invited, you might say, the Lord Jesus to,

oh, I took his blood and put it on the doorpost of my heart and went into a place of safety and certainly in my conscious belief in Jesus

Christ. And I was saved from the wrath of God. I was cleansed and I knew it.

And religion didn't satisfy. And I had been a member of a popular church, but I wasn't a Christian.

I wasn't saved. But that day, when I accepted the application of

Christ's blood to my life, I knew I was exempt from the wrath of God. And that was portrayed back

there by the divine architect of this universe who said, do this, do it like this.

On the sixth day, pick out the lamb.
