Alright guys, today we got a special return guest to the podcast. His name is Jack Carr.

So he is a retired Navy SEAL. He spent 20 years in Naval Special Warfare. He transitioned from an enlisted

SEAL sniper to a junior officer leading assault and sniper teams in Iraq and Afghanistan

to a platoon commander practicing counterinsurgency in the Southern Philippines to command a special

operations task unit in the most Iranian influence section of Southern Iraq throughout the

tumultuous drawdown of US forces. And then after he got out of the Navy, he became a number one

New York Times best selling fiction writer. And he's the writer of the James Re series, which

includes the terminal list, true believer, savage son, the devil's hand, and in the blood.

And in his debut novel, the terminal list was actually adapted for the screen starring Chris

Pratt and became the number one Amazon Prime video series. I was released last summer. And that

led to an announcement earlier this year that season two of the terminal list with Chris Pratt

is going to be made. And they're also going to do a spin off series about Ben Edwards. And that's

the guy played by Taylor Kitch. And then today we're also going to be talking about his latest

book in the James Re series. The one I got right here, only the dead. This is out now. If you're

listening to this podcast live, this is the sixth novel. It is out now. And then most importantly,

in addition to all those accolades, he's been on this podcast twice before. So he's been on episode 168
