But actually the radio show suddenly becomes less silly when you get one of these kinds of guests.

Today I really am thrilled and I have the

privilege of speaking with J.P. Morland. It's safe to say he's one of the leading evangelical

thinkers of our time. He's a distinguished professor of philosophy at Talbot School of

theology. And he is, gosh, he has degrees in philosophy, theology, and chemistry.

I think that might be a typo.

His work has appeared in numerous publications, including philosophy and phenomenological research.

Honestly, I'm thrilled to talk to you, but I'm more thrilled to talk to you than I would even

normally be because you've written a book titled A Simple Guide to Experience Miracles,

instruction and inspiration for living supernaturally in Christ. Many people think that

one is either some kind of an intellectual theologian or the kind of a Christian who believes

in miracles. You and I know that's nonsense, but I'm glad to, you know, to show that that's nonsense by having you on the

program as the author of this book. When did you decide to write this book and why?
