Now for the show.

Not every person with major depressive disorder is moping around a bedroom,

unable to get up, black curtains on the walls. No, they're often people that you see every day, out in the world, going to work,

going to school, functioning while dealing with a mental illness. Not every person with anxiety

is actively biting their nails and or

screaming all the time. Lots of times, they're simply going about their day. Which doesn't mean that

they don't have a disorder. It just means that you can't always tell what's going on with someone.

Folks with OCD aren't constantly flicking the lights on and off.

They're often just shopping for groceries or something. Same goes for substance use disorder.
