Girl, I'm great. We just had a long conversation about journalism and how our jobs are fun and I'm pumped up.

Speaking of, I have a PSA for you listeners. I know this is not usually a PSA portion of the show, but today it is.

I ask you, dear listener, when's the last

time you updated your resume? Ooh. Good question. Why is that on the brain? Well, I, well,

actually. So, as you know, we work in journalism and you could get laid off any day, any day of the week, twice in a week sometimes.

So it's always good to be prepared.

But the thing that made me think of it this week is that I have a conference coming up for, you know, the journalism field.

And they're having a new thing this year, which is a virtual career day at the top of the conference. And anyone can

participate. You don't even have to be going to the conference to participate. It's totally

free. And I was like, it costs me nothing. Even though I'm not actively looking for a job,

it would probably be good to just have some conversations with people and just see what other

organizations are doing, what they're looking for right now. And I may have one conversation with one person. I may have none. I may have six.

Who knows? But I'm just open to talking to people in the industry. And so I signed up and I got a

ticket. And then next it was like, upload your resume. And I was like, oh, poop.
