Welcome to Inklings.

This is such a happy talk. So we're right off the bat excited for our conversation this morning.

And we're going to be doing Sister Dennis's talk, which is cheering each other on.

And what I wanted to do before we even started, there's two places we're going to be in scripture today.

So one is going to be in the Old Testament and one is going to be in the New Testament.

So you'll want that plus Sister Dennis's talk cheering each other on.

And I thought what we might do is start in John, no, judges.

We're going to start in the book of judges, which is so fun because we're studying the Old

Testament this year. And you know how much I love the Old Testament. So it's so fun anytime we can dive in for a minute and just be learning.

One of my favorite things about the Old Testament is the stories.

The stories are so good and we don't talk about them very often.

So sometimes they just feel new. And so that's where I want to start

judges for and then you'll be getting all your other stuff ready and we're just going to dive right in

so if you have your scriptures you might want to put notes in the margins as we go because there's a couple things that we're going to learn that might make you look at this story differently when you get to it this year once we get to judges.
