Summary
Tre Harris’ phone didn’t ring for about two hours once his name hit the NCAA Transfer Portal last off-season. However, the floodgates opened once the first call came in.
Harris, then a transfer wide receiver from Louisiana Tech, could have gone anywhere. He ultimately chose Ole Miss over Oklahoma, Texas A&M and Penn State.
“I came here, it was just different,” Harris said, in a sit-down with his Rebel teammate, Jared Ivey, for this week’s all-new episode of the ‘Ivey League.’
The ‘Ivey League’ is presented by RiverLand Roofing and exclusively associated with, and distributed by, the Ole Miss Spirit.
Harris continued, “I felt like the entire program was different, the mindset. Whenever I was making my decision, I wanted to go somewhere where they had a (quarterback) and I could come in and be a guy right away.
“All the things pretty much aligned perfectly and pointed to Ole Miss for me.”
