to never do the book end events out of pocket. You know, when I scheduled Tim Pohl show,

they wanted to get booked well in advance. So they knew when I was coming and I wanted to pick a date

that I didn't think would interfere with any of the movie stuff, you know, going on at all,

but it would be late enough that, you know, it'd be closer to that stuff. And so I just picked

Monday the 20th because I could fly in Sunday. It's a day off already, right?

Totally forgot that I had booked a speaking engagement for like a year in advance,

the following weekend, which was a great time with great salt of the earth people. I mean,

last week was a ton of fun. Met a lot of cool people, got a lot of great feedback about the show,

but man, doing the book end travel thing just kind of runs your ragged a little bit on top of

also remind me never to release a book and start marketing a movie at the same time, like ever

again, like the rest of my life. And maybe, you know, the good thing, if nefarious flops at the

box office, I'll never be faced with that temptation ever again. And you know, I'll never make that

mistake again. I'm going to put you in the corner if you keep talking like this. This is

unacceptable. And I will make no such promise to have you make no such promise if it diminishes,

diminishes your co-tails. You know, it's about me. I know, I know, but you can hear I'm a little

worn down fighting off a little bit of a cold, had a sore throat yesterday. Went in first thing

this morning, got the swab, no strap, no sinus infection, just a good old fashioned cold probably

from all the travel and not getting as much sleep as I normally do. So you may hear the dreaded sound

at some point during the program of the throat lossage steroid, pumping up my voice. People
