This is historic. It's the latest with the impeachment trial.

Here's where we are at.

On Wednesday, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi,

she transmitted the Articles of impeachment to the Senate.

She appointed seven House impeachment managers to the Senate. She appointed seven House impeachment

managers to the trial. Then on Thursday, trial proceedings officially

started with Chief Justice John Roberts sworn in to preside over the trial, as well as the 100 senators sworn in his jurors.

And I watched all the pomp and circumstance, and the Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell said the trial will, and I quote,
