The day after Cinco in this year to our Lord, 2024,

and I'm absolutely elated to be linking up, reconnecting once again

with this gentleman. To say I'm a huge fan, it'd be an understatement. I had the pleasure

of meeting this gentleman many, many years ago. As anybody listens to this show or knows me,

and I'm an old school, as they call it, old school, huge professional wrestling fan. Not so much of the sports entertainment, but professional wrestling.

In my opinion, the golden age, I guess if you're 80, 70 years old, the golden age was maybe, I don't know, 50s,

gorgeous Georgia, et cetera.

But for me, it's a little bit younger guy, the late 70s, early mid 80ss was just crushing it. For me, that was the golden

age man, NWA, Jim Crockett promotions, et cetera. This gentleman, he's really one of the last

of the Mohicans, if you will, the old school promoters. He had shops set up here in the heart

of the professional wrestling world because the National Wrestling Alliance was headquartered

at one point in time right here in St. Louis, Missouri.

He was rolling with the likes of Larry Madisick, the late great Larry Madisick, Sam Muchnick, wrestling at the chase, et cetera.

And he has been continuing that tradition of just incredible old school professional wrestling with his promotion southern illinois championship wrestling he's been

on the show a couple of the times he's actually one of my first guess here on it's me speaking to

you back in the day and even had the absolute just incredible opportunity before he passed to talk

to herb as well as the great larry madisonic coming up herb as assembled one of the biggest

professional wrestling fan fest i personally have ever seen coming up uh as a symbol one of the biggest professional wrestling fan fest i personally have
