How you doing, sir? I'm doing well. How are you? I cannot complain, bro. Every day above ground is a good day,

man, so got to count them blessings. Yes, sir, yes sir. Well, you know, like I kind of mentioned,

man, as anybody's familiar with this case, whether it's Biggie or Tupac. There's so many layers to this, so many names so much to unpack. So it's one of those

like, where to start. But before I get ahead of myself, a little background on you, man. When did

you get yourself into the game, the producing filmmaking? I know journalism out of NYU. What got you

started? Well, I think at the time when I came out of NYU, I was trying to figure out what to do as a journalist, whether I wanted to write. I was working at a magazine. And there was a rumor that was going around New York City of this secret unit within the New York City Police Department that had connections to the FBI.

And at the time, they were calling it the hip-hop police.

Yeah.

So in an effort to tell that story, I went up.

I bought a camera at the infamous B&H camera store in New York City.
