I feel like I haven't done a video in a while and other than the last video that I did which was a vlog from my trip to Wyoming a few days ago to film David Brooke over.

The last couple of months have been a lot of artist series videos and then some other things that I've done, for instance the video I did on

Irving Penn where I let my friend Sue Canterbury who's a curator kind of

take over and do the whole show. And so I feel like I haven't done this in a while and

by the way that Irving Penn video was

featured yesterday on Petapixil and so special thanks to Michael Zang. I've never

met Michael but it was really nice of him to do a feature on Petapixil for that

video I was really really pleased to see that. So anyway I

want to talk a little bit about what's been going on lately and I found that one

thing you know when I do these shows if I haven't been doing videos and telling you what I'm doing

people tend to think that I'm not doing anything and it's really been quite the

opposite's been extremely hectic. The other thing that I want to mention is

you know when I did the first three artist series

videos, I decided that I wanted to build some excitement and some anticipation around them,

so I made the decision to not talk about who the artists were going to be until the trailer came out.

And that was really difficult because for instance when I'm in New York City or I'm in Los Angeles

and we're doing the filming for these, it makes it really hard because I can't talk about them. I need to find a day off or something where I can do a video.

So I'm going to change that up a little bit moving forward and I'm going to be a little more behind the scenes so you can see who's coming up. And so a couple

weeks ago my travels all began when I rented a car and drove down to Beaumont

Texas to do an artist series video on Keith Carter. Keith is one of my favorite photographers.
