My name is Jake Crumpler, and as always, I'm joined by Pitcherless, full pen expert, Rick Graham,

and Rick and I were preparing for the podcast.

And right before we hit record, Pete Alonzo just hit a go-ahead,

three-run, home run in the ninth off of Devin Williams. And I think that's almost like a perfect

intro to our podcast talking about playoff opens. Yeah, and it's unfortunate to see Devin

Williams, one of the best relievers, uh,

Lois save like this, but at the same time, I mean, this is, it just makes for dramatic,

you know, awesome, awesome baseball watching and, yeah, the playoffs, like, nothing beats the playoffs.

And especially, I know some people have, like, their issues with, like, the three game series.

I get it.

I totally do but

it makes these games even more you know like just crazy and yeah meaningful and um like every out

really is is huge so yeah uh this has been a crazy game sure there's a lot of crazy playoff games

to get to uh as we get through October.

Yeah, definitely. So today we will not only recap the wildcard series from a bullpen perspective,

but we will also give our predictions for the rest of the playoffs, as well as running through

the in the pen reliever awards from 2024, which we did last

year. We'll be running through those as well. But we'll start it off by recapping the games

from a bullpen perspective. And they started this week. I think it was Tuesday was the first set
