My name is Jake Crumpler, and as always, nope, Rick is not here today.

Today we have a special guest, and it's a longtime friend of mine. And you've been following me across the baseball

universe. You've definitely heard of him. I am joined by my good friend Davis Bird. You can follow

him at Twitter, on Davis Bird, DBS Bird, excuse me. And he is my former podcast co-host or

right now current podcast co-host, as we did nearly 100 episodes of the free baseball podcast together

over on the athletes hub. But I've got Davis on here on the independent podcast to help cover for Rick

while he is out. I think he's on his honeymoon right now in like the, no, he's somewhere in Europe

where it's cold. But Davis, welcome to the show. How are you doing?

I'm doing good, man. It's good to be here. It's good to be podcasting with you again. I know I'm no

Rick, but I can try to stand in and fill his shoes the best I possibly can. I'm glad you chose to

have me on. Talk some baseball. Yeah, I'm super, super pumped to have you here.

This is basically episode 99 and a half of our free baseball podcast.

If people don't know, Davis and I got through 99 podcasts of our personal podcast.

And then our schedule sort of, you know, flipped around and mixed up and we never got to

episode 100. So right now we can consider this 99 and a half. And if we have you on again,

we'll consider that one 100. Or maybe someday we'll get to that episode 100 of free baseball.

That would be awesome. But I'm glad you're killing it over with picture list and in the pen.
