My name is Jake Crumpler, and as always, I'm joined by pitcherless, full pen expert Rick Graham.

Rick, we are recording the day before Thanksgiving.

How are you doing?

And what are your plans for the holiday?

Yeah, I mean, I'm doing well.

It's weird recording here on a Wednesday at, let's see, it was 5.30 p.m. almost.

Uh-huh.

Different from our usual schedule.

Yeah.

So for Thanksgiving, usually, and this year it's going to be the same. Our family goes down to my sister's house. My brother-in-law happens to be a chef. So it's, I'm very lucky. We're very lucky and, you know, grateful for our situation. So it's always a nice, a nice dinner with family down there. How about yourself?

Yeah, I mean, we talked about it a lot last year. I remember, I'm remembering now about how I'm not a big fan of Thanksgiving.

I know. Yeah, that's right. Yeah. Mostly, I'm not a big fan of the food choices in general, and that's likely a case of the food choices that are available at my specific, my family's Thanksgiving.

Yeah, I mean, like, you know, being Jewish, like my grandma, being kosher, we're doing, we always do Thanksgiving at her house.

So it's like, you can't mix cheese and meat you're not having

anything that has any dairy products if you're having a turkey so it's like everything gets reduced

my sister's gluten-free that that sort of reduces a lot of stuff as well um but last year if you recall

my grandma was i think she had surgery or something So we had to go to somebody else's house.

And that actually went pretty well.

This year, grandma also having surgery again.

So we're doing it up my house now.

So my brother, my sister, and my mom are going to be doing the majority of the cooking.
