The latest in the loop podcast of Dan Miller was a classic. I stopped a couple of times just to absorb the ideas being shared. I think shared is the right word because so much of the conversation was

around not being in competition with one another but being a community. Synergy was the word

Dan used in conjunction with community and that was a truly powerful concept.

I think it was Andy Enders who suggested that many thought leaders today, such as Michael

Hyatt, Dave Ramsey, and of course Dan Miller, overlap in many ways but are like different

pages of the same book.

It's a brilliant idea, really, and it was clearly evident even in a

tone of voice that was absolutely authentic. I didn't get the impression that anybody was

trying to sell a book or sign someone up for a program. It was a true sharing of ideas,

and at some point during the conversation, I no longer felt like I was just a listener,

but a participant.

I felt like I was part of the circle.

The honesty and authenticity brought me into the conversation.
