And so this episode specifically is going to talk about your latest book, and it's called The Final Summit.

And I'm thrilled to get to talk about stuff that we don't get to, you know, stuff that you can't put in the book and stuff

we hadn't got time enough to talk about on Twitter or Facebook. So this is, you know, we're,

we're going to talk hopefully about behind-the-scenes stuff here. So this is cool. So we're going to jump

into this. And I want to start with a listener question. When you're writing a book, in this one, the final summit, how into the story do you get when you're writing?

And by that, I mean, are you David Ponder in this book?

I mean, are you the average Joe guy?

I mean, how engrossed do you get when you're writing a book?

You know, I try to get close to the characters.

I really, and I really put myself in that situation.

I don't know that I am David Ponder, even though from the very beginning,

you know, the first time we meet David Ponder's in the Travelers Gift,

and I obviously used a lot of those situations where he was in the worst time in his life.

That was kind of close to me, but when I do this, when I write, I've created a space, an office, and I really surround

myself with, myself, with myself, I surround all of me, with things that inspire me, and like,

right this second, I'm sitting at my desk and you know
