We're going to start with Doug here because, again, Doug, you're an author.

You've written several books baseball-wise, and this is the latest one, Hot Foot,

that we're talking about here from Triumph Books, focused on Roger McDowell, obviously. But tell us how have this book come up to be?

Well, through the St. Louis Cardinals, as a matter of fact. I've done several books on the Cardinals,

and my most recent one was on the 1987. And of course, the M on the Cardinals, and my most recent one was on the

1887. And of course, the Mets and Cardinals had a great rivalry through 84, 85, 86, 87,

particularly. And in reaching out to Cardinals PR, I had mentioned to them that I'd love to get

the Mets perspective on that season from a few of the guys.

And so I was put in touch with Jay Horwitz, longtime PR media relations guy at the Mets, and I should say guy, I mean the god at the Mets.

And gave me a great list of great names of great guys. And Roger was at the Mets and gave me a great list of great names of great guys and Roger was at the top

and Roger was more than happy to talk and then we hit it off and after we did I got to

thinking well Roger had such a colorful career player coach and successful, and successful career, more so, that make a great
