Inside the Birds is back. What's going on, everybody. It's Jeff Mosher and Adam

Kaplan. We're back on Inside the Birds. Guess who's not back, Adam? A lot of people in the Eagles front office. And we've

been waiting to do this kind of episode. We tend to do one each year just kind of updating the

changes. But this time, the change hit us in the head and said, you got to do it now, as the Eagles

have had some significant losses in both personnel and salary cap. And I think we need to take a macro and a

micro, Adam. I think, first of all, I'm going to let you do it. One of the things we need to

explain to people, our listeners, is that the Eagles have a different kind of front office

structure than I would say that most teams have. You have Howie Rosemat at the top as the executive vice president.

But up until us recording this podcast, they had two different assistant general managers,

neither of which you would say specialize in personnel.

There's John Ferrari who's still with the team, who is a compliance guy,

kind of called a glue guy.

He does a little bit of everything that how operations. Operations guy, right?

Not necessarily tape eval and banging the table for players, not his thing.

And then there was Alec Hallaby, one of the recent losses, who, as we understand,

is not just leaving the job altogether going off to a different venture.

He was in charge of the analytics department.

So it's it's a little different, right, to have two AGMs, neither who have knee deep in personnel.

But then as we get into, there are some other guys who rank high who were personnel

oriented, who are also leaving. So it's kind of an interesting time for the Eagles front

office. Yeah, I mean, they've had over the last year, nine or ten guys leave. It's a lot. It's a lot.

I remember Bill Pollan telling me us, like what happened? At the time, he was let go by Jim

...
