Inside the Birds is back.

0:14.0

What's going on, everybody.

0:15.0

It's Jeff Mosher, Adam Cap,

0:16.9

and we're going to finish off our two-part podcast series,

0:20.1

our depth chart review outlook

0:23.3

whatever you want to call it we've been examining going inside the eagles depth chart we did

0:28.0

offense in our last podcast we're going to do defense which is convenient adam because since our last

0:33.3

podcast the eagles did add another player on defense and we'll talk about it.

0:42.7

This is going to be a different sort of tone from us because offensively, while there were some additions, right, the depth chart is not going to look too differently, depending

0:47.7

on what happens with the AJ Brown situation, but wide receiver and then a few backup tight ends

0:53.0

that we talked about. The offense is largely the same.

0:55.5

The defense has some changes and some questions. And I think when we talked about the purpose of

1:01.5

this podcast now is what did the team look like at the end of 2025? What does it look like right

1:08.2

now to see where they're going to go forward? You can certainly look at a lot of positions on defense and say, right now you are not as good as you were at the end of 2025, and you didn't even win a first round playoff game. So this will be a fun exercise. It's the quality of the player. And we have Intel on Joe Tryon, Shrienko, who we have not talked about.

1:45.2

And Chandler Martin, we have a lot on because front of our show, Ryan Silverfield was his head coach at Memphis. So I've known about Chandler Martin. In fact, I remember asking him because I was a big fan of Chandler Martin, we'll get to him in a minute. But unfortunately, he wasn't drafted, but more on him when we get to linebacker. but it just shows you a cornerback.

1:46.2

They have so many players, but it's the quality opposite Mitchell. And it's the questions, one-year deals, regression, got like with Ringo, he wasn't who they thought he was as a corner. He's an excellent special teams player. Mac McWilliams didn't really get on the field.

2:03.9

Then you got the fascination with the 49ers,

2:05.7

Avery Thomas, Tariq Castro Fields.

2:09.7

So it's interesting on your point as we go inside this thing.

2:12.4

There's some interesting players,

2:15.8

and you're hoping for the Eagles that doesn't come down to this than playing,

2:22.0

but yet this is what player development is on the offseason to see if these guys can develop its quality backups.
