Jail, friends, on this week's travel update, I'm talking about the current ticketing drama at the Coliseum.

0:06.5

There are reports of people being turned away at the gate at the Coliseum because their third-party

0:11.5

tickets are not being accepted. I want to tell you what's going on, who is affected and what to do

0:17.1

if you are not sure, and what to do if you're not sure that your tickets are valid.

I'm Katie, founder of Untold Italy and we are here to help you open the door to your Italy.

1:11.1

those underlying operators are not authorised. My understanding is that both platforms are moving

1:17.9

to remove those operators from their listings as you'd expect. The Coliseum has also mandated

1:24.4

that the tickets are non-transferable and must include the visitor's full name.

1:29.3

If the name does not match your ID when you go to enter the Coliseum, you won't get in. So there's

1:34.7

no exceptions or no refunds. If your operator has not asked for your name, that's a red flag.

1:41.5

If you have already purchased tickets and are worried, here's what I suggest.

1:44.9

Check the cancellation policy first because get your guide and buy-to listings can usually be
