We begin with Rome, Reuters, Italian Prime Minister, Georgia Maloney, said negotiations on tariffs between the U.S. and the European Union should aim at lifting all of them.

Georgia Maloney is a Trump whisper. She's also a Musk whisper. She's also someone who is leading in the European

Union looking for negotiations between Russia and Ukraine, between NATO and Russia, and now

between the European Union and the Trump administration's ambition to put on tariffs on the

whole of the EU and then individual countries.

Is this popular in Italy what she's saying, not to hang back, but to talk to negotiate?

I can tell you that is true what you said.

It's very popular the statement that George

Meloni made. And of course, the opposition started immediately to criticize what she said.

The opposition accused George Maloney that she is more or less the cause of what is happening

around. While she doesn't cause of what is happening around.

While she doesn't have any responsibility is a matter of a decision of Mr. Trump.

So the opposition has nothing to say, my opinion, George Maloney,

but it's my interpretation, is trying to wait and see. and she's also planning an appointment, as far as understood, first, with the deputy president, Mr. Vance, and then with Mr. Trump.

In my opinion, she's preparing herself to play either a sort of negotiation leading

role on behalf of Europe or to support Europe or maybe on an individual base, Italy versus

the United States. In my opinion, it's a tactic or a strategy, I would say, to wait and see what will happen
