This is more than a book, though.

I think it's fair to say because, again, we've sort of circled round what happened to you on that day.

But we probably need to dial into it a little bit more because we don't go into sort of the depths of it,

because obviously that's in the book itself and want people to read it and find out exactly the details.

But the day of Hillsborough, you were obviously there, I think of right i think of same with your brother and you were so nearly caught up in it in the worst possible way if you

don't mind go into a little bit detail of how that will have happened and what happened on that

day to yourself because again that leads on to another reason this book is now being spoken

about and we're here, I guess.

Yeah, so me and my brother were playing football outside on the 14th of April in the evening.

And a friend called at the house and he had a couple of spare tickets.

And we went inside and he was trying to persuade my mum, you know, that my mum didn't want us going. She had a bad feeling because I was only 13. It was my, I'd never been to an away match. I used to go to all the home games. So my mum didn't want me going, but mum's, mum's no best, don't you? And anyway, we went and then we were at Liverpool Sports Club who we went with.

And we went to Bram Lane actually before it for a buffet.

And Alan who got us the ticket, he was sitting in the mainstand, so that meant that me and my brother would be in the weapons lane on our own.

But we got chatting to this guy who's a Sheffield United fan because

there's a bit of thing about that he was a Sheffey's a United fan and he said you know he's

going the game and if you don't if he doesn't mind I'll look after the lads for you because

he knows the ground well like you know we've been from Sheffield now so this

this stranger just took us under under his wing, thankfully enough,

and looked after us. And then we get to Ilsebrayton, you know, it was just crazy outside. I'd

never seen it not unlike it. You know, we were used to the single file queuing up at
