So when I made the announcement to everyone, I jokingly said, Kim Slingers begins next week.

And then in a parenthetical, like, we're still workshopping the name.

And I think people didn't understand that I was kind of joking about that.

And we weren't going to actually call it that.

But I got a lot of feedback that that's what we should call this little two-month thing we're doing.

So the unofficial title of this little segment is Kim Slingers.

I love it. It's perfect print. I'm obsessed.

I just didn't want you to feel like we were like slinging you anywhere. It just felt a little

combative. Nope. I'm all about being slung. Sling away. It sounds amazing. I'm all for it. Awesome. Well, we are here today and for the

next eight weeks because there's a very special thing happening over on HBO right now.

The newest Sunday night prestige 8 o'clock, at least 8 o'clock, my time, HBO television show

is a Stephen King adaptation,

sort of. We are here to talk about it colon, welcome to Derry, the eight part, prequel,

anthology. It's difficult to describe exactly what this thing is, Kim, but we're going to talk

about this thing, an episode at a time for the next eight weeks.

And my hope is that we will actually get Matt on for the final episode.

I think he's going to try to watch the show concurrently with us, but he just couldn't make a commitment to do another podcast.
