Hey, what's going on, everybody? Thank you so much for joining us here at the Zoe Church podcast.

We are a community in Los Angeles that is all about the person and the message of Jesus.

I'm very excited. This week we are jumping into a series. We're studying the book of Daniel,

Daniel chapter 2 today, and very excited to jump into this week's message. I want to

encourage every person if you are not already fasting and praying with us to jump in. We've got

14 more days of fasting and prayer. It's not too late for you to join us. And in fact, we're doing a lot of

us the Daniel fast.

We are starving our flesh and feeding our spirit to hear from heaven and get God's plans and purposes for our life for 2023.

But let's jump into this week's message. It was all a dream.

Daniel chapter 2, go there in your Bible. If you missed last week, we started a study out of the book of Daniel where we are as a church going to be diving into this Old Testament book.

If you don't know what that means, the Bible is divided in half.

There's Old Testament that's pre-Jesus.

And then there's New Testament that's once the cross or the message of Jesus is realized.

The Old Testament is the law.

If you work hard, you can be in good with God.

The New Testament is all about believing.

If you believe in Jesus, you are in good with God.

Anybody thankful today, we're not under the law, but we are now under the canopy of grace.

So some of this is Old Testament thinking and language, but nevertheless, every single scripture is for our benefit.

In fact, the Bible says of the Bible, you don't got to add to it or subtract from it.
