And folks, wow do I have an episode for you today.

As you could tell by the length, we really went for it.

And I am quite pleased to have with me the writer and director of today's film. It's What's Inside.

Good old Greg Jarden. And here's the interesting thing I found out about Greg later after the podcast was that he happens to be a podcast listener and he's been listening

for a long time to the point that he had even been at some of my screenings and Q&As in the

past as well. So I believe he is the 37th listener who got into the podcast as a guest on his

first film. So congrats to him on that. You'll hear us discuss that later.

So, since he happens to be so familiar with the podcast, the good news is Greg really wanted

to make an episode that he knew listeners like him would like. So we really go into the behind

the scenes of this film. And this is a heck of a film to talk about because remember, it had a

$2.5 million budget and sold at Sundance 2024 to Netflix for $17 million. And folks,

here's the other good news. This is a really fascinating and awesome screenplay. I had a blast

becoming obsessed with it. I absolutely loved it at Sundance, where it totally rocked the audience.

And afterwards, I thought about it a lot.

And I was really excited to see it again.

And I got to tell you on a second viewing, it holds up just as good as you would hope it would.

It was even more fun to watch it on a second viewing.
