Summary

As Holy Week draws near, let’s turn our focus away from the events of our world and instead focus on Jesus. The best way to do this is to dive into the Scriptures and meditate on certain moments leading up to and through Jesus’ Passion. Dr. Sri suggests four scripture passages for reflection, walking through Jesus’ Agony in the Garden to demonstrate a method of meditation that will enable you to grow closer to Jesus this Holy Week.

And I think Jesus is inviting us here as we're getting ready for Holy Week

1:29.0

to put our attention on him, to keep our eyes focused on him and especially on his passion.

1:36.6

And so that's what I want to do in this week's show. I want to invite you to join me

1:41.0

for just a few minutes and unplug from all that's going out there

with the C word that virus that's out there and it's real and and there's a big problem

1:49.6

and we need to be concerned about it don't get me wrong wrong, but we can't approach this with a secular

1:55.8

mindset, which is just solving it from a human perspective.

1:59.3

We've got to keep our eyes on Jesus.

And this is just true every year, especially during Holy Week.

2:05.1

We should be focused on Christ's passion, but especially this week, so would you

2:09.1

join me in just focusing on Jesus for a little bit? I'll say a few words at the end, particularly from Pope Francis

2:14.8

and his very moving exhortation that he gave from St. Peter's last Friday in that extraordinary
