0:12.0	But there is no storyteller like the Lord Jesus, and there are no greater stories told than the ones Jesus shared.
0:19.0	In this study, spiritual stories, we consider the parables Jesus told
0:23.6	and their application to us. These are truly the greatest stories ever told, and the Lord

0:54.4	Remember a time to weep, time to laugh, a time to mourn, a time to dance.
1:01.3	There really is a time for everything, and sometimes us discerning the right time for things is the challenge.
1:06.0	God is a God of perfect timing when our Lord Jesus was on the earth, wisdom incarnate.
1:11.3	He knew the perfect timing for everything, and his timetable is not always our timetable.
1:16.0	We come today to one of the parables of our Lord Jesus, one of the spiritual stories that Christ told in its application to us found in Matthew chapter number nine.
1:20.7	It's actually in a string of parables.
1:23.4	So we'll come back to this passage again. And it has a parallel.
1:28.2	We're in Matthew 9 today, but you'll find the exact parallel in Mark chapter 2 and in Luke
1:34.2	chapter number 5.
1:35.8	And it's powerful, really, this conversation between Jesus and the religious leaders.
1:41.7	Could I just remind you that religious people need truth,
1:44.7	that no matter how long you've been in church
1:46.2	or what you think you know about God,
1:49.1	the Lord has more to say to all of us?
1:51.9	Lord, open our understanding today.
1:53.8	Open thou mine eyes that I may behold wondrous things out of thy law.
