Good morning everyone and welcome back to another morning with the masters where we devote

ourselves to the Lord daily with you.

It is a good morning.

We are picking back up with our live on purpose devotional and toys just going to jump

on in.

Let's do it today's first Corinthians 1031 and it says, whatever you do, do it all

for the glory of God.

The devotional is titled, It's About God.

There's something about the story of David and Goliath that's easy to miss, but it's

something I just love.

When David stepped out to fight Goliath, he gave God the credit for his win before the

battle even began.

Notice what David said to Goliath, You come to me with sword, spear and javelin, but

I come to you in the name of the Lord of heaven's armies, the God of the armies of Israel, whom

you have defied.

Today the Lord will conquer you, and I will kill you and cut off your head, and then

I will give the dead bodies of your men to birds and wild animals, and the whole world

will know that there is a God in Israel, and everyone assembled here will know that the

Lord rescues his people, but not with sword and spear.

This is the Lord's battle, and he will give it to us, 1 Samuel 17 verses 45 through 47.
