message to everything that I've done, it's that fishing should not be taken so damned

seriously because it's fishing. We're not saving the world or curing diseases here. Now, whether your

passion is bass fishing, fly fishing, offshore fishing, ice fishing, or, I don't know, so can shad

for catfish. We all started doing this for the same reason, because it's fun. More importantly,

at the end of the day, we're all just trying to do the same thing, man. We're just trying to score a bite.

So consider cut and retie the bar everyone can belly up to together whether you spent the day

drifting yellow sallies or jigging yellowfin tuna. And trust me when I say, there is more

commonality between the people that enjoy those styles of fishing than you might think.

As for me, I love all fishing and promote the fact

that I have no issue of stripping streamers one day and soaking live shiners the next. Blue water,

pocket water, scummy, pond water, I get equally excited about all of it. And over the years,

I've had the chance to fish with and learn from countless, passionate, interesting anglers that chase everything under the sun in every kind of water all over the world.
