0:02.4	You are so valuable to God that he sent Jesus to the earth to search for you.
0:14.8	We'll turn to Luke chapter 15 again. I'm going to read our text and get into our scriptures tonight.
0:24.0	The sermon tonight is called, It's Time for a Celebration.
0:28.5	Hallelujah. Anybody ready to do that to kick it up to a notch and you're celebrating?
0:33.4	You know, this is such a wonderful chapter in Luke chapter 15. It's often called the lost chapter.
0:39.5	And it's called that because it records the words of Jesus as parables to the lost sheep, the lost
0:45.0	coin, and the lost son.
0:48.6	And so there was a sheep that got lost naturally.
0:51.8	There was a coin that got lost accidentally, and there was a son that got
0:56.3	lost willfully. And so Jesus told these parables to a large crowd, including tax collectors,
1:04.5	sinners, Pharisees, and teachers of the law. And notice the pipe of people that were drawn to Jesus to hear his teachings.
1:13.1	These publicans were like our tax collectors today that we have. And so, and they were despised
1:19.8	because they worked with the hated Romans authorities and they were notorious for their corruption.
1:26.8	Can anybody relate? So there's nothing new
1:33.2	under the sun, as they say. So the Pharisees and the scribes were murring, murring against Jesus
1:39.3	for allowing these types of people to be around him. But all three of these parables show us Jesus is God's great love for the lost
1:49.6	and how it is so great that he has a glorious celebration every time they're found.
1:57.6	Hallelujah.
2:00.1	So both the lost sheep and the lost son are very familiar parables, but tonight I want
2:05.7	us to focus on the parable in the middle, the lost coin.
2:09.6	So let's start reading in Luke chapter 15.
