What's up, Laker fans? Welcome to the Laker Film Room podcast. I'm Pete, joined by Darius.

And tonight, our Lakers have game two in the series against the Houston Rockets up 1-0.

We will talk about that a bit more in the third segment. Check out yesterday's pod for game two adjustments and all of that.

And we'll finish our thoughts on that in that third segment.

But wanted to talk one of my favorite weekends and kind of weeks of the year, D, is that first week of the NBA playoffs.

You know, I can lament a bit that the regular season is low stakes and not necessarily like a long

preseason, but certainly not this. And having basketball that has stakes attached to it has been

a ton of fun to watch. There are a handful of series. You got Boston Sixers, OKC, Phoenix, one or two others that are like, we probably don't need seven

games or best out of seven to know who's going to be the team that prevails in this.

But there have also been some other great series.

The Pistons fell in game one, the number one seed in the east to Orlando in a series

where Detroit's probably not as good as a lot of number one seeds and Orlando's

probably better than a lot of number eight seeds and that played out in that first game.

We'll see how that goes.
